Christopher Fisher began with New Media Design
at BCIT. Continuing his education with a short stint at the Victoria
Motion Picture School led to hundreds of contract video projects
for high profile clients including The Discovery Channel, MTV, HGTV
and more. Branching into independent production, Fisher would self-finance,
shoot and edit two specialy sports videos, taking him on a two year
journey throughout North America exploring the sportbike stunt community's
subculture. His talents as a cameraman and editor earned him first
runner up at the Xtremey Awards for his debut effort, while the
sequel raised the bar within the genre.
Fisher would return to Canada in the summer of 2008
to attend the Vancouver Film School's year long Film Program. Selected
as a director for the final film round of the course, he and his
team would tackle the most ambitious project produced by the school
to date. 'Unique' is earning him rave reviews as a director,
collaborator, and visionary. The short film has been submitted to
the Chicago International Film Festival. Graduating with honors
in June 2009, Fisher is always looking forward to the next project.
