Born
on the Canadian East Coast to a family of six children,
Lynn grew up with a love for theatrics. Forever creative,
she explored fine art, photography, sketch work, acting
and more. Lynn moved to Vancouver to begin formal training
in January of 2008, committing herself to the yearlong
Vancouver Film School ‘Makeup Design for Film &
Television’ program. Since graduation, she has had
the opportunity to work on a number of short film projects
including 'Moving Forward', 'Swing Set',
and ‘Out of Order’.
In April of 2009, Lynn joined the crew of the short film,
'Unique'.
Her work creating a homeless character in the film proved
to be so realistic that numerous members of the public
approached the actor believing that he was truly homeless.
The benchmark for the makeup artistry on the shoot was
when a Good Samaritan went out of their way to offer the
actor-in-character money for a hot meal. |
Lynn has contributed to film projects in both the 48 Hour Film
Festival and the VFS Film Festival. She has had her work featured
in the March 2009 Edition of ‘Makeup Artist Magazine’
and the local ‘Metronews’ newspaper.
Lynn currently lives in Vancouver, BC and is passionate about
continuing her career as a makeup artist for fashion, television
and film.

"Lynn is an absolute gem. While shooting 'Unique', her
performance was nothing short of excellence. The true test of
a good film is suspension of disbelief. On more than one occasion,
Lynn’s work prompted the general public to go out of their
way, commenting on actors in character as real people. A homeless
character in our script was handed a wad of bills by a compassionate
citizen, in large part because even face to face, that suspension
of disbelief that we strive for was there.
Beyond
her professional work and professionalism, Lynn exudes compassion.
I consider it a privilege to have had the chance to meet her
and work with her, and encourage anyone in need of a strong
artist who is all class, to look no further."
- AJ King, Writer, ‘Unique’
